Michele Zhuang, MBus, B.A.

Founder & Managing Director

 

As an expert in cross-cultural business advisory and brand management, focusing on Australia and Asia Pacific, Michele successfully delivered strong track records of facilitating cross-cultural and business engagements for government and institutional clients.

Michele has nearly two decades of extensive experience in international business and investment, from foundation through to concept and execution. Thriving on excellence and results, Michele and her team have had a track record of attracting over A$500 million in investments to Australia over the years.


Michele holds a Master of Commerce degree with University of New South Wales.
She currently works as the China Engagement Advisor for the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and has advised numerous Australian local councils to establish a friendly relationship with their counterpart cities in China.

 

Inspired by a belief in the importance of individual creativity and creating a culture of excellence in the arts and education, Michele is a social charity activist and helps those in need. She has been generously supporting a number of not-for-profit organisations including the Starlight Children Foundation, Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation, Educating the future, Koala Children Ensemble, The Spring Music and English Project donated by Shanghai Spring Charity Foundation. Her leadership role as Vice Executive Director at Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Australia has given her further opportunity to service the community and members. 

She is an invited member of South Australian International Club due to her contributions to the community.

Jarry Zhao, MPAcc, MIPA

Executive Director, Investment

Jarry Zhao is an accomplished finance professional with nearly two decades of international experience in financial management and investments, encompassing investment banking, venture capital, and equity funds. His expertise in private equity, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions are particularly notable, highlighted by his tenure as a Partner at Horus Capital and Wudaokou Investment in China, where he managed investments exceeding ¥400 million RMB.


During his career, Jarry has spearheaded high-tech investment initiatives across China, adeptly overseeing critical processes such as fundraising, due diligence, strategic decision-making, portfolio optimization, and exit strategies. His strategic acumen and meticulous approach have significantly contributed to IPOs and companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with a standout involvement in a landmark ¥20 billion RMB merger and acquisition deal in the automotive industry.


Previously serving as Senior Manager at two other licensed financial institutions in China, Jarry demonstrated profound capability in navigating intricate financial landscapes, enhancing his reputation for precision and insightful financial oversight.


Jarry's international experience is bolstered by significant roles at prestigious institutions such as Macquarie Group and M1 Capital, where he developed a comprehensive skill set that includes financial analysis, stock trading, Mandarin proficiency, marketing, deal negotiation, and project management.


A passionate advocate for leveraging marketing and technological innovations to drive business growth and financing, Jarry holds a master’s degree in accounting from Monash University. He is currently a member of the China Science and Technology Finance Promotion Association.
 

Jing Li

Principal Consultant

 

Jing’s extensive experience in investment and trade spans across both the private and public sector, including working on numerous ASX IPO capital raising projects and overseeing international investment attraction efforts in his capacity as a senior executive with the State Government of South Australia.

 

Jing worked as senior consultant advising many prestigious brands on international strategy, government funding, and business plans. Client Including KPMG Australia, Sinopec, China Communication and Construction Company ZMPC, Adelaide United Football Club, City of Charles Sturt, ACBC, Business SA and Shandong Academy Science.

Jing is an elected councillor at Adelaide City Council due to his community contribution. He is also a respected community leader acknowledged by the Prime Minister and the Australian Embassy in Beijing winning the 2018 Golden Wattle Award Australia’s top 10 Chinese Youth and the 2020 Australia China Alumni Award (Social Impact). 
 

Jing holds Bachelors Degree in Finance and Commerce with Honours and is completing the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
